My first army list: Space marine 1500 / 2000points: Advice please

Please give your advice and opinions on my army list.

HQ: VULCAN

Tactical Squad x2: Sargeants with Combi Flamer and Power fist, with meltagun with missile launcher. On Rhinos.

Dreadnought with Heavy Flamer and Drop Pod.

Assault Squad x2: Sargeants with Power Fist, with flamer.

Terminator Assault Squad x2: with thunder hammers (at higher points value games i'd maybe add Land Raiders)

Scout Squad x2: Sargeants with Combi Melta, rest with Combat Blades, in landspeeder storms.

POINTS 1440 (what should i spend the 60 points on?)

For 2000point army I will add:


Vindicator x2 with siege shield 250points

Another Dreadnought with heavy flamer and drop pod 150points

Whirlwind with extra armour.

Again i have 60 points left, what should i spend this on?

Drop Assault Marines, get Land Raiders. Add Predators to knock out transports, pick up Speeders for mobile MM/HF loving.

Otherwise it looks fine.

what weapons would you use with the predators mate?

I keep them cheap and shooty, so Autocannon turret and heavy bolter sponsons. Use them to go after transports and light AV (so your flamers and Termies can get to the squishy bits inside) or just throw a bunch of high S shots down range.

drop the heavy flamer from the dreadnaught and give assault cannons to your land speeder storms. Increases their weapons output without affecting their movement. Also gives you some light armour killing with them.
