Im just starting and this is about all i have at the moment.
Captain with jump pack, power weapon and storm bolter
2 10 man tac squads with flamer and HB
1 6 man scout squad with HB
1 5 man dev squad 3 ML and a plas cannon
1 6 man assault squad with a power weapon
I dread multi melta and cc weap with storm bolter (AoBR)
Anyone have any ideas for improving the list?
use the DA codex :D
I dont know why you have HB on scouts, perhaps all Sniper rifles?
I would also say, your kinda short on melta, ML is only s8, and gets no bonuses versus armor, swap it out for Lascannon or something imo :)
I wasnt sure how C: DA worked. If that is reccommended thats what I will do when I can grab the codex. Im probbably going to move the HB out and add a lascannon to the dev squad. I also have the AoBR termies that I can swap in too.
DA turns termies and bikes into troops which is nice :)Quote:

Don't jump too fast into the DA codex. While the fluff and pictures are nice, the rules are pretty tough. You end up paying more for pretty much every unit vs the vanilla SM. Unless you want to field an all termie army, I'd suggest staying with vanilla marine codex. More options, more fun, more models...
Thanks for the adivice! I think i will still get the codex for something to possibly try and to keep my options open. :D
