So...just got my copy of the Dark heresy second ed! Have to say am loving the art on it, ffg don't disappoint!
Not had too much of a chance to go through it yet(got my priorities wrong clearly, getting engaged before reading through dark heresy, what was I thinking!!), but liking it so far!
Just wondered what everyone's thoughts on it was?
As you say the quality is spectacular. The FFG artwork is stunning and its well presented.
As for the rules its a long way improved from the 2nd ed beta. That was shockingly bad. Its does now read a lot more like a highly streamlined version of Heresy v1. Look forward to playing it with people....
The best thing for me about DH2e was the new setting. I really liked the Askellon Sector in a way that I never really did with Calixis. It really does seem more 'degenerate' and close to the end.
For me though, the rules misfired. FFG reached the pinnacle in how their rules work with Only War. It seems odd to not just c
spread that out across the various product lines.
