I had that 1st ed game and loved it. The "campy" injection molded models were really neat at the time and the metal reavers were even cooler. They could easily re release that exact set with updated art and rules but almost the same models very inexpensively. Just like Space Hulk. Regardless of what the FW epic titans cost, the plastic titans that came in the set would be what AoBR Space Marines are to a Tactical Squad boxed set. You get the basic, lower detailed models as the "included" models, and if you WANTED the really cool, high detailed models, those are available. Titans are what brought me to the 40k universe way back then, the idea of these immense walking machines that were 10X the size of Battletech or Gundam mechs was just so COOL.
Plus the metal OOP chaos/eldar titans and the add on bits you could get for them were amazing.
