I would share the prevalent opinion about doing something non 40k for a bit Joe - have you ever thought about doing some historical stuff? Or as you're handy with an airbrush maybe even some scale...
Maybe another option then would be to save and then put the money into a bond, some offer quite good guaranteed returns on the condition that you tie your money up for a period of time, usually three...
Whilst you're considering options, in the meantime my advice would be to start putting the money into a Cash ISA.

Indeed, I was sorely tempted by the AvP Kickstarter that Prodos Games ran just before Christmas, as a company I know that they are on the level as they succesfully delivered the Warzone resurrection...
