I was just stating a fact - you have a lot of points tied up in that dragon and lord. You can run it right out into combat (like most dragon newbs will)...

1 - your opponent chooses
2 to 3 - nothing happens
4 - left board edge
5 - right board edge
6 - beastmen player chooses

Hard to make it through your posts as the grammar and spelling is quite terrible. Capitalization and punctuation are your friends!

Is there a Michigan tabletop forum or site to find players/games at?

I think either army is a good cross over from 40k as you can have a lot of skirmishing troops (same type of movement as 40k) and shooting.

I think LM would be better for a new player but the DE...

Rhinox Riders are great but they aren't official and many tourneys/events don't allow them.

You can convert Hammerers out of Warrior sprues with a little time and kitbashing ... might be cheaper.

Yeah. They all get to fire but guess what! Suddenly your Thunderers are outside of half range and get to do nothing.

Best place for a dragon is under a caster lord I think. Keep him out of trouble, get your spells off, and maybe bring him our turn 5 or 6 and kill something. Most people play too aggressively and get...

A better plan would be to not put the Butcher in the Bulls and get yourself another unit of Ironguts.

Keep in mind that the LoG effects go away as soon as you lose one Bull. You would be better...

Aside from the bigger tournaments special characters are allowed and encouraged. A lot of the new books have characters which change how you can build your army and I see nothing wrong with that.
