My favorite in concept is Grey Knights.

The best Black Library space marine stories imho are Space Wolves.

The player is 90% of it in my opinion. Its like Poker. A good player can play a bad hand.

I have space marines - vanilla/ultras. After 10+ years I am taking the training wheels off and starting an Eldar army (something I swore I would never do).

Personally I don't mind playing rules lawyers. I hate it when a side gamer is a rules lawyer.
