The FOC stuff doesn't line up with the way the models are grouped on the GW site. Not sure if that means anything.
I'm looking forward to playing them again. I stopped when the last Army Book came...
Yeah, I've had Chaos update 3 times and DA twice in the past two weeks, plus Space Marines once. My real beef is with all the tapping to drill in, its just more difficult to get the first read to get...
Did you ever get in? I was just going to mention that you are better off buying a single IoB and 10 extra Lothern Seaguard from GW. Otherwise you have a unit of 17, not 20 because 3 of the guys on...
Actually, you need to reference to movement rules section to find the specifics regarding vehicle movement and terrain interactions, then you need the shooting rules RE: vehicles, etc. I went...
My guess would be the mech they are emulating is the Trbuchet. Scads of missiles saturating an area. Just my 2 cents.
Yeah. I have Orcs, Skaven, and Tomb Kings. My battle magic box also had a small tear which keeps catching the cards when I put them away. Good to know about the capacity. Is the box itself decent...
Anyone have the new card set for Storm of Magic? How large is the box. I'm not really planning on doing anything with the expansion, but I've been trying to find a good way to protect all the cards...
The cockatrice looks quite a bit better than my friend's old "death chicken" I have sorely missed monsters. They used to be a whole army selection section unto themselved. 0-25% monsters...
With Tomb Kings I would never go less than 4, preferably 5 deep. Our skellies are fragile and the healing comes in smaller doses now a days. You want to be sure that you always keep the +3 rank...
Double potions is not allowed. You can only have one item from each category now.
Not sure archery packs enough punch to weaken the large troop blocks prevalent in 8E, especially since there are...
The model along with the Ushabti with bows are known to be completed, but are not yet available. Expect them in a wave 2.
Isn't there a sword that gives +1 to wound in one of the army books or on a special character? I can't remember where but the back of my mind keeps thinking so.
They have to keep Ragnar the same! It's the only weak point to the whole codex.
I particularly like that is comes with one of the weapon combos that are not typically available.
Empire really didn't get toasted as badly with the 8th Ed rules changes as many of the others. The biggest change that wasn't a straight up improvement for them was the magic restructuring. Given...
Are lore attributes tied to the caster or the spell?
What I mean is, do I get extra power dice because I'm an Amethyst Wizard or because I am casting a Death spell? Do bound spells from a given...
I agree. I got my book last night and checked the wording. Disappointed but not surprised. Was really hoping it would make some one die casts a little safer.
I'd guess that the transport idea is rooted in the droid army transports from Phantom Menace.
The repairing transprt kind of sounds like a Tomb Spyder with revamped rules as promised. Tomb Spyders already repaired lost cause Necrons and would even transport them to another unit of the same...
My memory seems to think that what it said was any friendly Liche Priest within 12" rolls an extra D3 to all spell casting attempts.
The two of you have exactly stated the two sides as I see it.
I know that the Hierotitan adds D3 to the casting roll of any spell that Liche Priests cast when close to it. Would these points prevent the fizzle on any natural dice roll of 1 or 2? If so, then...
There is that FoD again. What is it? Knowing that might make this whole thread come together in my head.
Actually, the ork characters tend to make one unit core. The Warboss lets one unit of Nobs be taken as core, for example.
