I quite like the idea of salt flats, as I could use the snow texture paint and lightly dry brush it with bleached bone...and maybe add some actual salt to make it grittier
link a pic plz? struggling to imagine what salt flats look like...
(Wasn't sure which area this post is supposed to go in, but I'm sure it'll be fine in general)
Ok, so I am in the process of painting and using an Evil Sunz/Speed Freaks Ork army, but I am unsure...
How is it possible that Archaon hasn't been mentioned yet!?!?
Ok, after having played WFB for a year and a bit, I thought I'd try writing a Vampires list. Vamps are fairly common at my FLGS, so I tried making my list...a little different... Please leave any...
Here's an idea I hadn't thought of when I posted this thread: a squad of 3 nob bikes with a Waagh banner and a weapon or 2. They have the advantage that you get war bikers in the battle force, and...
1: Pick up vehicle
2: Lift vehicle in the air
3: Release grip on the vehicle
4: Watch as the vehicle shatters into hundreds of plastic components
5: Contemplate the fact that you have just wasted...
Yeah, I'll look into it at some point. I think a kill cannon might be an interesting option, but then again it would make the deffroller null and void, so I may or may not use one...
I might try that. What sort of tank were you thinking of as the base?
Slight issue: battle wagons cost £41 each. Any idea how to konvert/ scratch build one?
The kopters were mainly useful as they are my main source of anti-tank in my army, and so if my battlewagon is destroyed they are essential for dealing with enemy tanks. I certainly would like to...
As some of you may have seen in my thread "It's not easy being green", I have been trying to write a 1500 point Evil Sunz Ork army list, but am undecided as to the final unit I should include. Below...
The plan for the majority of abaddons black crusades seem to have been roughly this well thought out...
You are playing orks. That question should answer itself
Big trakk? Sounds pretty cool, and glancing over the rules it looks like the business. Any idea how to build one without shelling out £52 to buy one from forge world?
A few more changes, had to ditch the bikes due to lack of cash =(
1499 points
HQ:
Warboss
Cybork, Mega Armour, Bosspole 115pts
Big Mek
I have made a couple of little tweaks to the list, tell me what you think:

Maybe, but I have a warboss from the AoBR, and I like the battle wagon, as the deff roller makes lovely antitank in an army that badly needs it
Due to the fact that Orky things (specifically Battlewagons) are pretty dam expensive, do you have any recommendations as to what I should remove to scale down this list to 1000 points while I save...
Ok, a few nooby questions regarding vehicles, as I am completely new to 40k (though I know most of the core rules by osmosis and playing fantasy, I know next to nothing about vehicles).
First, if...
The updated 1502 pt list
HQ
Warboss w. Mega Armour, Bosspole and Cybork Body 115pts
Big Mek w. Shokk Attack Gun and Ammo Grot 98pts
Troops
Fair enough, seems pretty Killy and stompy
Will do ;)
What do you actually field?
As the contents of the battle force cost roughly the same with or without the bikes, I'll get it and use the bikes for now, but save up for a second dakkajet
