The mark up on the physical book may not be that high, the markup on the rules is ludicrous. They could bring out the tome and the starter edition rules booklet at the same time, but they don't. In...

Neal McDonough as an Ultramarine sergeant.
No one should have a problem with this. We play this game, and not other games, because GW has the best models with the most potential for cool conversions like this. I enjoy playing because I get to...
I like how my one off-hand comment in a thread that was already answered spawned 9 more pages of Tynskel vs. Everyone arguing...
Catachans are just a casualty of being the first multi-part plastic IG troops. The models are quite old and therefore less detailed and more ridiculously proportioned than what we're used to today. I...

Without challenges, you have to kill every other member of a squad before you can touch the one model that can hurt you, and often die in the process. It makes sense for hive tyrants or daemon...
Seems stupid to me. Just make a clearance section on the website and sell stuff 75% off. They would make more than selling it for scrap...
Challenges exist to balance the power if ICs and hidden powerfists vs large monstrous characters without a unit to hide in.
Robin Crud-face is fired. I will write the new Nid rules.
The rules state that the rolling for reserves happens at the beginning, not the movement. Once you begin moving (which you have to do for newly arrived units first), the start of the phase is over.
If your question is just about Scrier's gaze, then there is no issue. Your target is the psyker, not the unit off the board. You would not, however, be able to cast a power like endurance on a unit...
Damn, I wish they would sell a new edition rule book with all the FAQ crap added in. I don't want to have to check a website every time I need to look up a rule.
Or they could just write better...
High strength no AP weapons in this game are stupid. Why can it smash a Space Marine Chapter Master to pulp in one hit, yet can be stopped by a Catachan Flak Muscle Shirt?
What is this raging...
I don't know, having just reread the rules, reserves must be rolled at the beginning of the turn, powers are cast at the beginning of the movement phase. Are these separate things? Is there a "start...
Except your tail attacks. Because no one has ever smashed anything with a mace tail...

Basically, this thread has turned into Tynskel vs. everyone.
Because they released them as ****ty one-piece metal models after the advent of multi part plastics.
No they aren't. Monstrous Creature is a unit type. Infantry is a unit type. Things that affect only infantry will not affect Monstrous Creatures. They are completely separate things.
Might want to take a look at your numbers... Orks have 2 attacks each and WS4. So 60 attacks > 40 hits > 13 wounds > 8-9 unsaved
If your only options are charge or get charged, of course it's ...
What kind of puny sentinels do you have? The bottom of the cockpit is higher than a Space Marine's head, and they're 7-8 feet tall. The sentinel model is 2.5-3 times taller than a guardsman, so more...
Even if you could switch outflankers to the tunnel, which makes absolutely no sense fluff-wise, what is this mythical unit that is so powerful that it will decimate the enemy army if it's allowed to...
No they aren't. Those are three completely separate unit types.
In an objective game, all someone would need to do is kill 9 models and you can't win. Now that Tervigons are garbage, Tyranids need their swarms of little dudes in every game.
