I like the ingenious use of bitz on the tentavle arms - especially the drill! I almost feel the model is a little dark though - maybe it is the picture? Looks great nonetheless!

I think the base is what really needs more spikey looking bits - but maybe the arms could be beefed up a little as well. Just my 2 cents... :)

Your casts look like they turned out great! And I agree with Thaldin - some rebar would add some realism to the traps (not that they don't look real)
