No, it's an XV9..........unfortunately.
£70 for a Tau Titan would be amazeballs :-)

I wonder if the PULSE canon benefits from the Storm of Fire rule and gets 2 shots at half range from an Ethereal :-)
Still going over the rest of the rules.
NERDGASM!!!!
It's a real shame. I don't know why GW are so scared of leaks and speculation hurting their future releases. Most companies release product road maps at the very least. I didn't buy any Tau stuff...
looks great. Interesting concept though, a stonghold without doors :-)
Hmm, elites and fast attack will not let me add anything. Also can't select the "view Collection" ( which is the army you are building) option. A little buggy to say the least, and on top of that the...
The updates out and the Force Requisition feature is in. Playing now :-)
By Zeus' beard!
This just in from Black Library

No eta for the Force Requisition App, but to compensate they're sticking a bunch of free data sheets into the...
Completely agree, I've been on the receiving end of Apples approval process. Atleast it means you have a better chance of getting a working App. I wonder if it will be an App or an update to the book
It would be nice for GW to yet us officially know why it's not there at the moment and when to expect it. They are still mentioning it on their website and in iBooks as a feature. I'm not going to...
No one seems to have mentioned this and I can find anything in WD or other forums but it looks like the iPad codex has an in built army builder like app call Force Requisition. Hope they produce this...
The space marines stuff is up for preorder now on apple book store. The codex is an "enhanced" edition with what looks like an army builder style tool included :-)
Beat me to it :-)
I once read also about a Russian prince who played large scale wargames wit real people as a child, uniforms, fortifications and toy guns/canon.

This is a really interesting read, I never realised that one of my favourite authors was also responsible for the creation of one of my favourite...
Really didn't expect this thread to get so much attention :-)
Personally I like nothing more than going up against a well painted army. There's nothing like seeing an amazingly painted miniature...
I quite like the way the Tau codex and suppliment has evolved to reduce the threat posed by their weaknesses. They are an advancing race and this reflects that, no one would say "Hey we're useless in...
Overall I think GW should be congratulated on the way they have embraced digital media. They may have been a little late to the party but with the inclusion of other devices as well as iDevices it...
You're right, the iOS versions prompt you to update when the publisher releases and updated version
I was just about to start a thread on this. GW haven't made much of an announcement but I think it's going to fly off the shelves. Quite often with the main rule book I find myself having to go back...
It looks pretty good to me, even on the iPhone. Well priced too, nice move from GW. I'm now much more likely to buy a codex for an army I don't collect so I can learn their tricks and rules. I'll...

One question, what's a WAAC? :-)
Who wrote that? Gordon Geko?
It sounds like a daft question, but I was wondering if you feel like you play better with models you have taken the time to paint? Or do you tend to "look after" and play more thoughtfully the models...
I had a similar experience on a gaming night at my local GW store playing Tau. I'm 35 and the other guy was probably early 20's, so I thought I was getting a mature game. I love painting vehicles so...
