i just buy the black reach dreads and convert them to my needs, you can get them on ebay for about $15-20 usually, although you have to have a sizable bitz box.

this is a little over the top but i used files, exacto and a brutal disregard for my health to turn sprue bits into melta barrels. i discovered that if you flatten the mag and ad a bit of the above...

never shopped there but wayland games seems really cheap

i agree with lerra, allies are a fun and fluffy way of adding character to an army. eve though it would be harder than simply eliminating allies all together to try and balance them it would be cool....
