The deteachment says you can upgrade to VOTLW for free, you don't have too
(Although the only reason you wouldn't is for Crimson Slaughter)
From what we've seen so far it looks like there is nothing stopping the Traitors hate stuff from being used for 'normal' Chaos marines, Black Legion or Crimson Slaughter.
So any of their relic...
Sugestions I'd give
-The Pathfinders without rail-rifles don't really need a devilfish, they should be set up with a commanding veiw of the battlefield and markerlight stuff up.
- To avoid being...
Techmarines also have it as standard
Genrally you have the option to deep strike or not.
If something must deep strike it will be listed in it's rules (for example a drop pod must deep strike.
There are also some formations/scenarios...
That's good.
Not as good as guarnteed via vector dancer though.
I just find it wrong that Craftworld flyers get it and Dark Eldar don't, despite their entire way of war is about manuvers and insane...
And stll no vector dancer on the Razorwing.

Didn't they already "nerf" D weapons when they let people use cover/invulnerable saves against a 2-5 roll?
An interesting read.
It fits the "grim darkness" well, where basically every faction has it's fair share of darkness, and manipulates the facts/history for there own reasons.
I especially like...
I heard of at least 3 tournaments won by Librarius conclave Space Marine "super friends" lists.
(I will admit I don't know what percentage of tournaments that is, but from what I understand at least...
Space Marines are not on par with Eldar psychic power wise- they surpass them to a crazy degree.
And have done so since the 7th edition Space Marine codex came out with the stupidly powerful...
Eh, most monstrous creatures can't scratch a Knight in combat without smash attacking anyway, so it's strength 10 ap2 attacks will be more than sufficient to deal with them.
Especially if they have...
Invisibility doesn't actually make the unit invisible, it "removes the unit from the enemies mind" (telepathy)
So why it is a blessing rather than a malediction I have no idea.
It wouldn't matter if it did, Vehicles can't get wounded so cannot benefit from feel no pain.
I figured it'd be something like that.
I think my idea would have been better.
Although I just thought more about this, how cool would it be if he got a formation where his bodyguard (Of Terminators, with option of Cataphracti terminator armour) Got his mark of Chaos Ascendant?...
I assume he is in as a command choice, forced to pal around with a hilariously expensive unit with multiple Lords/Sorcerors/Dark Apostles etc. like Ghazghul is in his detachment
All Claws.
They'll pretty much slaughter anything you want them to with claws.
And that they can cast it easier.
I agree that Feel no pain makes sense for all the cult marines I'd have to disagree with the 4+ for Thousand sons and Noise marines and definatly disagree with the 3+ for plauge marines.
It should...
Depends on what You want him to kill, which chapter you use, and if there will be a character joining the unit.
A powerfist/thunderhammer/eviserator will be good for killing monstrous creatures...
Because Loyalist Space Marines get favourism from GW.
You may also notice that Loyalist Dreads get a Storm bolter attached to their powerfist, while chaos have to pay 5 pts for their equivalent...
There is the Smasha gun and Zzap gun from the Mek gunz.
Problem with both is unreliable strength. (2d6 for Zzapp, 4+d6 for Smasha)
Both really cheap points wise, plus use the Grotz improved BS of 3...
Basically, Yes.
You can decide which unit you want to put in a Fast attack selection drop pod during deployment.
It dosn't even have to be from the same faction (so long as they're battle brothers)
