I am pretty sure this army would be hard to win games with but nasty air attack army.
2 flyrants and a FA slot filled with flyers. Problem is keeping your mission objective forces doing what...
Considering how along with some of the nice rule changes they have added some of the most infuriating I have ever dealt with I almost welcome a 7th edition. Too bad it will come with new codex...
Or giggle when someone wants to play with their titan and play regular 40k instead.
Anyone else feel like GW is just trying to squeeze every dime out of us with BS extraneous rules before they sell themselves off? These rules can't be playtested and things like this seem a bit off...
Just because they have been in the game forever doesn't make them a good starter army.
Durability used to make them a good army but who thinks most space marine units are that durable these days?...
I would get rid of Instant Death for strength alone. Fixes a lot of annoyances for numerous armies and makes characters less vulnerable. It should be a special rule granted to some weapons not any...
Okay, I have seen a Dreadknight in most lists I have seen so I assumed it had achieved auto include status.
Not counting troops type units.
Tau have the Riptide
Eldar have Wave Serpent Spam
Grey Knights have the Dreadknight
Tyranids have Flyrants and Tervigons
Chaos has the Helldrake
Imperial Guard...
If drop pods could be used by centurions then I would go cents. Delivery methods are so limited for the Cents that it makes them hard to use with grav cannons.
As far as which chapter could overthrow the universe. It would have to be Ultramarines due to their numerous successors and their possible agreement with whatever reason the Ultramarines offered. ...
I am wondering if playing the white scars list with Iron Fists chapter tactics wouldn't be better. Extra armor saves are better than a better cover save which is something that can be removed...
Sorry, I am going to have to call you out on having predators that are too new :) I have one of the really old original preds in plastic. Thing is a piece of junk.
How did you get the second troops selection of bikes? You only get one per captain right? You had room in your FA slots just wondering.
Grav cannons would tear him up since he has to field terminators right now to play a legal army. He only has a limited model selection. It would be like you building an all flamer/heavy...
You have to get the assault centurions into combat and hammernators sort of handle that role better than the cents. They seem good at what they do but they have to get a serious investment to get...
What's the point of leaking information if you are going to do a completely half assed job of leaking it?
At the point cost the aa tanks are at they are decent at what they do but if they survive and finish their task its a quite day for them afterwards. Having interceptor on the one shot tank made...
More often I would mix in telion in my Kantor army. In reality I think they should have neutralized the characters chapter affiliations and made them generics. Put in character rules and abilities...
Wow, this thread just died. "crickets"
At this point with all the rumors fleshed out I am excited to get me a few landspeeder storms but disappointed that they didn't make the giant dreadnaught figure. I am not sure the new models will...
Honestly if game companies wouldn't make overpriced under made games then we wouldn't be talking about this at all. It would be exploding on the market. Look at Xcom, the relaunch of that game was...
He is definitely a guy you hide in a squad and keep him close to the back with a sgt to accept challenges if that happens.
The one thing I have learned from the internet is people love to act like they know something even if the pea rolling around in their noggin has been half eaten by fungus.
Broadsides come with a built in defense option called drones. THey also have a lot more firepower. Not really comparable. I don't consider it a whine to point out a unit may be overcosted and not...
