On my Vulture I have a piece of brass rod drilled into the stem and body of the model. This has thus far stopped the two coming apart when i don't want them to. Alas I'm not able to provide a picture.

Few days I found an old AoBR pilot i picked up with some bits a while ago. He was some what encrusted with a very thick layer of paint. Alas i have no pic of his condition.

Fist job was to strip...

i built mines flat mainly so it fits in my box .

Having picked up a copy of DV on saterday its painting time.

Starting with some deathwing as Having got the box I found my dark greens were rubber pucks in the base of the pots :(

so some wip....

A couple of small observations. The mask at Malcadors feet fits the description of the mask he wares when meeting the head of the assassin temples in nemesis so i wonder if they are involved in...

The vulture on its first outing an 8 player 750point + free flyer match. Having just earned its name "wytch hunter" buy wiping out 12/15 of a unit of wytches about to be set upon by there air...

yes twin punishers good for strafing runs and perforating any other aircraft that gets to close.

So with 6th ed I felt It was time to bring in some close air. So last week a vulture was ordered and today it has arrived.

So the kit is fairly nice. once the gates and flash was washed off only...

The gold is a boltgun (ironbreaker) base coat with two heavy coats of black wash and a heavy coat of brown wash. then dry brushed with shining gold and then washed with delvin mud. trimmed and...

Thanks for the feed back. I know im very bad for not removing mould lines. I tent to clean up gate numbs ect but i normally ignore the mould lines.

I use IPA for stripping plastics to no ill effect. it might soften the surface slightly but as far as a i know most other commonly used strippers do that.

lychguard - these guys have only had the base colour spayed on. colour is citadel beaten copper if anyones interested. looks rather gold in these pictures but it more red IRL.
