Yeah it was mostly luck that the storm went so crazy but the stormlord brings so much to the table even if the storm doesnt go crazy. And the 20 man unit is actually pretty good mindshackle scarabs...

Im not sure about that stuff but i use la's totally awesome for removing paint from my models works really well and is cheap.

You should try giving the lord mind shackle scarabs they are amazing and can easily save your warriors if they end up in close combat. Other than that i think your list is very solid looks like it...
