The Warstore is a good source of GW bits, but if you're looking for other manufacturer bits then you'll have to try elsewhere.

The popular choice is to add squads Trueborn with Blasters in the Venoms.

Since the gun is still within the dimensions of the model and not clearly placed for a height advantage, I'd have no issue playing against it.

The risk you take holding most of your army off the table is that you can be taken apart if you arrive piece-meal. You're going to have units coming in fresh but they'll find most of their buddies...
