Nice paintjob, did it take you long to paint these? The details are incredible on the wagons.
Lovely conversions, well executed idea. Looking forward to your infantry.
Not to destroy your hope but that mini is not new. Its a test model send to GW by a sculptor. Atleast thats the information on the round table (bretonnia forum) and they are the experts. I hope...
Lovely miniatures. The Araloth is amazing and the Durthu looks good aswell (however I think a dark wash can make the colours come out better on the Durthu). Thank you for sharing, giving me some...
Looking great as always. You have some great painting skills. I think the paint scheme of the ancient suits a Durthu better (a bit to dark for my taste). Thankyou for sharing.
You make some good points but I have to disagree with the wildwood rangers. I think wildwoodrangers are best used in small units like swordmaster. With only a 6+ save they are to fragile.
Treekin were 65 points so they are 20 points cheaper and lost 1S and a worse wardsave for it.
Not to bash your hope but the stag riders are not mc. Based on the photo´s we have seen, this is confirmed.
Would be the only logical explanation for green horses. Even in fantasy terms green horses are crazy. Not that I really care if there are good stag riders. I always wanted stag riders when I saw...
I think its a perfectly fine release for week 1. Two new duel kits next week (stag riders/... and eternal guard/wildwood rangers). I can understand if fantasy sells are so low in comparison to 40k...
I think its a fantastic idea, its shows how the wood elves are neutral and use whatever magic that fits their needs. The prices of the treeman also surprise me (positive).
Luckily the old wood elf stuff looks still good. The colours so far used are a little to bright for my liking.
The first photo clearly shows another new kit (shadowdancer photo).

Really liking this release so far. The horned treeman and lord look awesome.
Haha Agreed:D It was so bad it made me smile.
lol:p I think part of the problem for me with this model is the lack of uniformity. The tail looks like a rat tail. The body is really small and the big spikes make it even smaller (love the idea of...
Glad I am not the only one who sees the resemblence with a giant rat (yes I have seen rats in rl Eldergal;)).
Indeed, even the high elf everqueen face looks bad so I will be praying for a wonder:p.
Nice work, I like the dark colours. You have some great talent.
Amazing painting skills. Also a nice miniature;). Perfect combination:D.
Games Workshop already forced the artist to remove the photo from his website. If this is not an indication of an upcoming wood elf release I would be suprised:rolleyes:.
Really dissapointed with this model. The artwork is amazing but this looks more like a giant rat.
Some really nice artwork for the rumored wood elves. It has some nice clues for the direction the wood elves are heading (stag knights:D).

But it is reasonable to assume most of the resources are already been invested in the wood elves. So no reason to hold much longer then they already have. I still hope for a May release.
