I knew a guy who did his battle damage by just straight-up painting a dark metal layer underneath his actual colours. It actually worked pretty well on tanks, they gathered it naturally.
That's because it is. It's square enough to pass for an Imperial shuttle though. Compare the shape of the front to something like a Thunderhawk, they aren't too different.

Specifically the one-minute mark onwards. Is that what I think it is?

One of the nicest reds I've seen, well done.
Oh.
That model is absolutely gorgeous. I love Forgeworld's Admech robots, and they've been some of the few FW models I've been tempted to buy, but this is far and away my favourite.
Oh yes please.
You can turn a Dread into a Chaos Dread, but you can't do the opposite, I suppose, especially with the ongoing Horus Heresy drive. That, and Chaos probably has better army choices.
It's probably worth mentioning that those metal Dreads are casts that started production around twenty years ago, roughly on par with ancient history like the Marauder Miniatures Giant. I can't...
That beaten armour effect looks absolutely incredible.
I only posted the Crest/GA America designs, but certain other cores could easily be used as grounds for Tau suits. Take either of the White Glint kits, for example.

I feel like this topic's compared apples to oranges. Action figures maybe be cool and all, but they're absolutely no substitute for a designed-for-gaming model, or even a constructed model.
As a...
I think it depends a lot on the context. For games that can get to scales as large as Warhammer and 40k, the readability of the model becomes important, especially in terms of weapons, so heroic is...
Actually, I would argue against this. It's worth noting that the Blood Pact are an organised military group, so they'll be able to maintain their equipment properly. It's nice to break the trope that...
It's probably worth noting that, unlike 40k, Fantasy actually has a narrative that doesn't depend on being stagnant. The history of the Fantasy universe isn't as rich as 40k, but the fact that it's...
I'd say they are, but they're also too far removed from any kind other kind of psychic that it makes sense to just consider them as not.
Technically no. The Inquisition trilogy was written...
It's pretty straightforward to me. Konrad and Angron are the two most immediately lethal Primarchs. If you want the Warmaster executed and you don't have Russ available, they're your next best...
I'd say removing mold lines is a must. It's as much a part of the assembly process as making sure you don't have spikes of sprue sticking from your edges.
Drilling gun barrels seems like more of a...
Has anyone here heard of the Dornian Heresy? It makes for a great alternate timeline.

I think it's well written, aside from one thing. You use too much jargon without any explanation or definition.
Unless you know your target audience already plays 40k, it's going to be a difficult...
