I like these shots a lot ... what method are you using to achieve the rust / weathered look? Is it a wash, overbrushing, etc?

Yeah, I get that ... it comes together well ... but since GW prices along the army book lines vice the materials involved (ie: the wraith is a HQ hero choice) it just hurts more than paying $30 for...

As to the Wracks ... Empire Flagellants + bits and bobs from the Eldar Sprues = counts...

GOOD call on the Loxatl ... was just rereading Gaunt's Ghosts ... those would be awesome to see ...

and while we're at it -- what about a Blood Pact conversion kit? Why pay for resin?

i can't speak to the burna boxed set, as i don't own any. as to kommandos, they look like whatever you want. (just remember the powerklaw!)

That's quite plausible, but why cut out that ONE page in each codex where it discusses allies? as incompetent as GW tends to be with its updates, this is too direct to me to simply be coincidence. ...

RAWR + total absence of allies rules from codex pdfs = gone IMHO.

the idea of the army scheme is that they're a fallen BA company -- so i am going with mostly marines models ... am still figuring out how to strike that balance ... like do i use berzerkers for DC --...

One of my ongoing projects is for a BA Army played as CSM ... the attached is a dred for that army. As you can see, it's an AOBR Dred with some CSM vehicle bits.
