I don't really miss combat shields, they weren't very good anyway.
I do miss antiplant missiles. "Oh, you're hiding behind a forest? *poof* What forest?
Personally, I think the current codex pretty much nails the idea of the Inquisition on the head.
You have a normal army "requisitioned" by an Inquisitor and his entourage. The Inquisition doesn't...
Sweet mother of Gork!
Except Raptors, who are all about the camo.
The Unforgiven already operate like a Legion to some degree. Nearly all the Unforgiven chapters maintain unusually close lines of communication back to the Angels, and Azrael regularly gives them...
You guys can call them trolls all you want, but there is truth there. Sisters have never been a popular army (I've played since 2nd ed came out, and I could count the number of Sisters armies I have...
I just double checked, their website says they are based in Kiev, Ukraine.
Aren't they Ukranian? Pretty sure they got cranky last time someone called them Russians.
Choosing an Army > Detachments > Factions.
"Note that Fortifications are an exception in that, unless otherwise stated on their datasheet, they do not have a faction."
I can't find a quote that...
Except, there is a distinction. As mentioned, in the newer books the Apocalypse Formations are called just that, while regular ones are just called Formations. Even Forge World stuff has the 40k ones...
Kinda sad there isn't a Plague Demon :(
But still very tempted to pick up a Demon pack...
Actually, it DID get a change, an upgrade in fact. Now when you suffer a weapon destroyed result each rocket counts as a seperate weapon, so you only lose 1 rocket max.
It means what it says. That Medusas and Bombards may still be legal due to Imperial Armour and having Forgeworld models, but that GW has no plans to put them back in the main codex.
ARG! Seriously? I just bought a FW Medusa TODAY!
I cry.
It mostly makes me twitch because Yellow and White together are a no-no in real world Heraldry ;)
Hey, you know who I don't think has been mentioned? The Ultramarines.
The Ultramarines are manic about the codex, and follow the rules of their primarch to the letter. However, this does make them...
Imperial Fists get Bolter Drill (re-roll 1s to hit with bolt weapons) and their Devestators/Centurion Devs get Tank Hunter and bonus damage vs buildings. Crimson Fists are descendents of the Imperial...
I am kind of suprised no one suggested Raven Guard.
Strike from the Shadows: They get scout and stealth in the first turn. So they can reposition after deployment, and get bonus cover saves in the...
I think as a general rule, special rules which completely remove other peoples special rules are a bit silly.
"Oh yeah, these guys are fearless/know no fear. Except Hive Tyrants. They are scared of...
That does look pretty cool. I may end up buying some of that.
*Nostalgia hits you*
*Critical hit!*
Man, I miss Necromunda. I am always badgering my mates to play it with me, and start up a new campaign.
I have pretty big gangs for all the basic gangs,...
That depends.
We don't know which side of the battle was he on. He may not be an actual fallen, just got disgusted by the infighting and left after the battle. Or he might have been sucked up in...
I voted that the FOC is fine as it is. A bunch of chracters/HQs have an effect on it already (Master of the Forge, Belial, Chaos Lords with Marks, etc etc), so it is pretty flexible in many armies.

Since Catachans were the FIRST IG to get a plastic line? Of course, back then there were like, 5 metal lines of IG.
