I could be wrong but the harp looks like it's made from spine parts from a Triarch Praetorian with small rod added in between.
GW Eventually got it right(ish)
11092
Emperors Children but only if they let us put sonic weaponry in most of the squads like we used to be able to
They will be on eBay the moment it's released I'm sure. I had a feeling this would just be a bundle box and not like a traditional starter set but at least you still get the rulebook. Doing it this...
In regards to the original post I have to disagree with your first point. I like the maelstrom of war missions as they offer a different way to play the game (which you don't have to use if you don't...
Interesting release dates in the WD screenshot there. Either that's a copy/paste error or these releases were originally scheduled for this week and were pushed back
The detachment is interesting. It looks like armies will be getting their own optional battle forged force orgs to play around with.
You make some good points indeed. I really like the starter sets for each faction idea. In fact all your points which include some sort of starter sets as cheap introduction to the game or starting...
I don't think GW should even consider adding a new army until Sisters of Battle have a proper codex and plastic miniatures. As mentioned on this thread before a Dogs of War style book would be pretty...
I only have a Macharius Vulcan and two Imperial Knights. This thread is making me want to own more
For me it's a prestige buy but I would play it if I knew anyone else with a 30k army. I do a lot of people who use the forgeworld models and parts for their regular 40k armies though
Amazing work. I'd love to see a step by step tutorial on your marble effect for the base.
I'll certainly be picking up this book. I was hoping GW would put the Alter of War missions into a single book and they have delivered. Some of the missions look great fun
I don't like it when people decide they want a game and then you've got to wait for them to write their list up. My biggest pet hate though is list tailoring, especially when they have to proxy stuff...
It's not a bad supplement. As mentioned before the relics are really good. I like the random element that the possessed have in this book and the main codex. Is it viable competitively? Not really...
I would love to see a dogs of war style mercenaries codex for 40k or at least dataslates for squads of mercenaries that we could ally with.
I'm not an apologist but why are things like this being discussed before the Codex is even released? In the original post you mention how there's been a lot of false rumours and then complain that...
I'd be very shocked if GW could put anything out that quickly even if it is only a digital release. I was going to say they probably kept them in the codex as people already owned them and that would...
Good to see GW acknowledging their stores need improvement and are doing something about it. Whilst this is a good idea I think in addition to this they should also be looking at successful...
If Chosen can outflank again I'll be happy. I like the sound of this little supplement. I hope it's true. Could really change the way Chaos play, for the better.
Makes a lot of sense really. It's far easier to have a core ruleset that's good for small games and make it bigger with supplements as like 40k than the go big or go home approach it currently is
I'm glad this list is really small in comparison to the Fantasy list. I know a lot of this stuff has been direct only for several months. It does make sense if the boxed sets don't sell very well as...
Well I don't know exactly how they work but I assume they get a discount % off the retail price so higher retail price means the higher price they pay for the discount so GW kinda make up the money...
Of course people want lower prices. I want everything in the world to be cheaper but it's not going to happen, especially at GW
There are quite a few independent stockists of GW products. They...
