I just want to say a big thanx to everyone that was on the Armageddon track. Once again, we had a great blend of personalities and awesome looking armies, to make this a truly memorable event.
...
Do we need to bring objectives?
I am planning on bringing IA8 Elysians. I'm not sure if the Ely's were at Armageddon or not, but that would seem to be a better fit than Badab.
Does that sound Ok with you?
Cheers,
This is a question on allowable models.
If I have a resin model representing a chimera, that was scratch built, then cast, would I be allowed to use that model in the Team tournament?
...
@Jwolf: Ok, no worries. I suspected as much, but as Wayne Gretsky always said, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take".
Cheers,
I have an IA8 Elysian army that I was planning on bringing for one of the narrative tracks. Would I be allowed to field an IA8 list for the team event?
Cheers,
As far as exceeding the allotted points for the narrative tracks, are you suggesting that "if" we have more to go ahead and bring it and it might be used?
I'm still planning on bringing Elysians...
Does the list deadline apply to narrative track games as well? I haven't heard yet whether or not the IA8 Elysian list will be accepted.
Thanx!
I used the Valk base, but drilled a hole in the clear part as well as the Vulture to accept a pin. It sits on it just fine and now all my flight bases will look the same.
The other suggestions...
Actually, what I said was "no new weapon systems", which I didn't explain very well. A weapons systems by my definition would be on the order of a crisis suit or a new type of vehicle not based on...
So looking at this with Tau aesthetics in mind, I think this comes fairly close and as this is most likely for Apoc, then if it looks good, do it. :)
However, from a pure "does it align with...
Please tell me that it doesn't involve Kroot and dental hygiene.
Everything else can probably be managed. ;)
This question has more to do with being curious vs. a concern, because I'm sure you guys know what you are doing. That being said, how are the Narrative tracks going to work this year, given that we...
Elysians for me in the narratives...in fact BoLSCon is a huge driver for me to complete the army I purchased (mostly) in 2006. I am hoping I get to play the IA8 list vs. IG Codex, but have been...
I just want to confirm what I think I know:
1. Valkyrie does not have any fire points
2. Therefore units in a Valkyrie may not fire
3. A PSB would need to disembark in order to use their...
I don't know if you ever get over to Bolter and Chainsword, but if you do, try PMing a guy that goes by the name of Doc Thunder. His group commissioned female IG troopers that turned out quite nice....
When I field my Elysians from IA3, I usually take 3 Vultures and give them twin autocannon and the six hunter killers each.
Reasoning: Your still IG (i.e. BS 3) and so if you really want to ensure...
Easy sneezy.
This was back in "end of 3rd/4th" edition days, but 24 Tau Fire Warriors in rapid fire range of two Obiterators. I hit with all shots (48), 25 wounds, all but 1 saved.
In the...
I think the maces would be aces :)
First off, you don't see a lot of them around in 40K, plus they lend themselves to painting "power" effects pretty easily, so you can really go to town on them...
That is an incredible amount of Eldar awesomeness. Shame that you're still xenos scum (joking), but kudos to you for completing this amazing army.
<though an army is never really done ;) )
Very impressive. Have you considered painting the eyes with some "Ard coat to give them a glossy or wet sheen? They'd look a little more like eyes.
Otherwise, I really like what you've done.

So first of all, I didn't play in the normal tournament. Those really aren't my bag, though I've done a couple. On the other hand, the Narrative tracks were just my cup of chai. Everyone there for...
I agree on the narrative tracks. They were some of the best gaming fun I've ever had. I'm definitely planning on coming back, even if my drop pods are the projectile of choice for the Gargant....
