    Default Forgeworld Teasers for GamesDay

For anyone that hasn't read the staff profiles for the GamesDay this weekend, forgeworld has already snuck in a lot of teaser information.
We already know about the long overdue Necron love; with the Tomb Stalker.
Orks (namely grots) are getting an awesome 'land-ship' in the form of the Mega-tank.

But here are a few things to watch for:
Eldar are coming soon. They'll be featured along side a "popular chapter of Marines" on a snow world; with a host of new models. Maybe that Phantom is close to being done.

The Space Marines themselves should be seeing a new variant of landraider.

So, anyone in the UK with a camera; hope you can get us all some pics and juicy details.
It is not the combat I resent, brother. It is the thirst for glory that gets men cut into ribbons.

Just to update, now that GamesDay has passed, we got to see lots of images, info and rumors about the things forgeworld has hinted at. All this has been posted on other threads/forums, and is simply condensed here. Pictures were taken by Strangleweb.

The 'new type of landraider' was revealed to be:
The Achilles, armed with a thunderfire cannon, lots of muti-meltas and extra armour.

For the Eldar projects, we got:
The Hornet light tank. Filling the spot between vyper and falcon (AV:11 maybe?), and armed with a twin-linked heavy weapon.

The Lynx heavy tank (like an Eldar Version of the Macharius tank), with Pulsar.

They also get new aspect warrior caste, "Shadow Spectres," which use jump-packs and are armed with 'prism rifles,' scale-downed versions of Prismcannons.

We also got more info about AI 11.
We'll get arctic combat Cadians upgrade kits fitting into the Iceworld setting and will also have Space Wolves.

The Elysians will also be in IA11.

Also note that the Achilles doesn't have a front ramp; it's not an Assault vehicle.

Not necessarily. You can assault out of any door on a land raider, not just the front (it used to be that way a long time ago). So until the profile comes out and it doesn't have the Assault Vehicle rule on it, we don't know for sure.

They didn't mention anything at the seminar I went to.

They had a Tauros and the troops-in-a-Valkyrie on display at their stand, but I didn't see anything new.

I wonder if we'll finally get some Thunderwolves!

But anything more from FW for the Space wolves is FANTASTIC!

I wonder if we'll get some special character love to replace the terrible Njal in powerarmor, Ulric and Ragnar.

If I dare hope we might get a FW version of Logan Grimnar! But like I said I'll be happy with some Thunderwolves.

They said that they imagine there will be Thunderwolf models at some point, but wouldn't say if it'll be GW or Forgeworld...

There will be some special characters. I assume they meant new ones, but guess they could mean old ones re-vamped.

Has Forgeworld ever done an "existing" special character? I thought they tended to make up their own.
