    Default Scrolls and irresistable force.

Just a quick question can scrolls of any sort be used against irresistable forces?
Havnt got a rulebook on me at school and want to know what to plan for my High elf army. And no I'm not one of those new elfin fanboys

Nope. It says that you use scrolls in lieu of a dispel attempt. If skip the dispel step due to IF, no scrolls.

Cool thanks, Just I figured oddwise teclis throwing 6 dice at a spell should always roll a double, the only problem with 6 dice is the feedback scroll, but since they cant use it, im well sorted

I'd say he is probably correct. To read the scroll, you cannot attempt to dispell. But you don't actually use the scroll until after spell resolution.

So it would go like this:
    1) Teclis grabs 6 dice, rolls 6,5,3,3,4,2 = 23 and Irresistible Force, so spell is successful
    2) IF means no Dispell
    3) Spell goes off, target unit gets hosed by giant purple sun
    4) You use Feedback scroll
