Default Bigred builds a Dark Elf Dragonship

This is my crazy challenge. I recently finished my Dark Elf army, and it needs a cool carrying case. And by cool I mean something like this:

Yes I know... I'm nucking futz, but hey, I have a problem...

Overall it looks lits quite achieveable. Based on the scale of the dead high-elves on the stern it feels like about 2.5-3 ft long. If I can find a decent toy ship hull to use as a basis, its just a lot of bitz and card work. The work doesn't look too crazy, just a lot of it.

Wish me luck, soon my army will sail the high seas in style!

Good Idea. Look at Romen ships. they should be easy to convert...

If you take that picture to a hobby store that deals with boats they should have a base ship you can buy for 40 dolars then modfi from there! ^^ That is how I am doing my pirate army at this time. >;D

I have also been trying to build a dark elf boat but with little luck. The picture you posted looks like the best I have seen so far. Good luck with it.

That is good stuff right there, Fantasy needs more boats and airships!

I want to do a Zepplin for my Dwarves sometime here in the future.

Now that is going to be one seriously challenging project, find a model kit to start from seems like the way to go. I'd say look at roman or old asian ships, maybe even starting from something like this:
