Soft VS Hard Army bags

I prefer the soft cases. Not only does it hurt less when it hits someone, but the Sabol foam can be modified to better accomodate strangely shaped figures, which means they are better protected.

Now, if there were a hard-sided case which used pick-n-pull trays, that would probably be the best option if one planned to travel (especially by bus, train, or air where the army would be handled by typical baggage handlers). Not only would the hard case keep it from being crushed, but the trays would be able to safely nestle each figure.

Culven, BattleFoam does have pick and pluck trays availiable.

I currently use Sabol foam, and hard plastic cases.

Though I am going to go through and totally upgrade my storage with Battlefoam when I get home from Iraq, and I will be putting the Battlefoam trays into a Pelican Case.
