Both the Sportsmen had perfect sports scores for both days, and quite a few others had 6/7 perfect sports scores.

Well of course they can. Which Codex they used is surely a basic requirement though. It's hardly privileged information, I could defraud them with merely their name, were I skilled and motivated enough to do so. Saying Michael Strange used Tyranids is hardly any benefit to the hacker community.
