There are several things I'd change...but this is the best list I've seen from the event.

Don't knock the triple machinegun Chimeras. In the end they ended up tearing decent chunks out of units over the course of the tournament.

By the time the last round came about and I had to face off against Mike Strange again, he knew better than to ignore them and used both of his dakkafexes' firepower to keep them out of commission for most of the game.

My first suggestion was in fact the CCS. I don't think the Banner is points-effective, at least without Straken. I also don't rate single OotF very highly.

In hindsight, the Fleet Officer did almost nil for me (except against Chaos Daemons, where it kept 3 squads of plaguebearers and a greater deamon from showing up until turn 4+). I should have spent the points on two bodyguards instead.

The banner was priceless, though. Saved me from getting run down in combat when I didn't want two on two occasions, and prevented post-vehicle-explosion pinning well over a dozen times in the course of my 7 games.

I also don't rate Heavy Weps in Vets, Plasma Vets, or Fists on Vets, while we're discussing the list...
