    Default Tau Smart Missiles

    I had a quick look at the codex just now and a question came to mind regarding the smarties

    Since they are mounted on each side, do they count as twin-linked? separate? or just as a single weapon? the dex isn't clear about that.

    It's a single weapon system, and it isn't twin-linked.

    Yup. it's nothing like a hunter killer, but it's still not twin-linked! Thanks Commander!!!

    It's just a single system, so four shots total.

    @karandras
    You're thinking of Seeker Missiles.

    If the statline does not say a weapon is twin-linked, it isn't twin-linked. Just because a vehicle has two of them doesn't indicate twin-linked-ness.

    It also helps that the codex refers to the model as having a Smart Missile System. Not a Twin-Linked SMS, not two SMSs, just a SMS.
