Alright, its a quick question. I'm sure all LotR players are aware that good models can't shoot into combat, for fear of hitting an ally. However, Legolas's rules say that he can fire 3 normal shots, or fire 1 shot that automatically hits, ignoring things in the way.
So, can Legolas fire into combat with this one shot since he can't miss? Or is it just a stupid question?
I am aware that this can always be a house rule, but I want to know if it would be thought of the same way in a more "official" game.

He may fire into combat.
To quote ORB (page 107)
"...or if the target is in combat."
