I have fond memories of the lammasu (one of my first ever fantasy figures) and may get one even if it has aged quite a bit (decent new paint job though)

I think it has aged quite well really, not a bad price for those either, and that is a pretty looking cold one.

One of the best/most fun games I ever played (7th ed tourny) was my dwarves vs the chaos dwarves, he had that nice old lammasu, and tarus....kinda given me a soft spot for that model!

Yeah the Cold One is a nice model, just wondering how well it would work as a mount for a Scar Vet for my Lizards. Will have to take a closer look once they start appearing in stores me thinks.

In all honestly I probably wouldn't get 16 so much as like...5 or 10.

If I were going to spend that much money I'd just restart my Iyanden Army.

Fair enough dude, it's your money. I just don't see why GW has released this (nice though it is) when you can buy some plastic ones much cheaper and just not stick the riders on.

True. I guess there will be a number people who would rather pay extra than do a bit of converting with a knife and geen stuff. Personally I'd rather get 8 plastic cold ones for the price of 2 finecast ones and take the hassle of converting!
