Space Marine Scout Bikers - Troops?

Do Space Marine Scout Bikers count as troops if the captain is mounted on a bike? The rule book states that "Space Marine Bike Squads of 5 or more models count as troops." I can read this either way. :-)

I read this as only the Space Marines Bike Squads counts as troops as the scout bikers are call Scout Bike Squad and thus a seperate unit name.

Scout Bikers have a different unit name than that listed in the Captain rules, and so do not become Troops.

That's what I thought. So they are pretty much pointless in a bike army.

I wouldn't say that. They have Scout, Cluster Mines, and Grenade Launchers. They could be useful.
