idk, for some reason i had thought it would be a dedicated transport with weapons, basically like a stormraven for dark eldar, which would be fitting from what i see of their playstyle

It was going to be a combined kit, but it ran into problems apparently. So they decided to split it like the Raider/Ravager. Also the voidraven is supposed to be bigger so I would imagine GW felt it silly to have a heap of exta sprues people would be paying for without using if they just made a razorwing.
