Tips for OSL

Im looking to see if anyone has tips on how to do effective OSL. Im tempted to try it out on my tau, and for my eldar aswell, but i have no idea how to go about it. Im planning to use it on weapons like the fusion guns, and on engine sources.

There's some good tutorials on coolminiornot.com as well. I used the Lava tutorial recently to do a lava base for Sauron, and it touched on OSL reflection of the lava back onto the model. They've also got some specific to OSL.
