back to the mathematics, the problem that tau supporters ignore is that their chosen number is divisible by two.
all the math I have studied is about getting numbers (and/or equations) to lowest principles.Tales from Original WFRP. My Troll-Slayer would be a terror with his axe, then my friend's Tax-Collector would hit the foul beasty with his cane and usually get the killing blow.

rather than πr^2 . Multiplying by .5 is a great way to confuse younglings (and older people unfamiliar with tau).
