KoW seems like a fun game. Have you tried out the beta rules for Warpath yet? It's a bit like KoW in space.

We've downloaded the rules, but haven't had the time yet.. they look interesting. Some interesting discussion on the balance of the two army lists that Mantic have so far published, on the Mantic Forums.

I just got the 2nd ed rules set in the mail last week.

Seems pretty straight forward - combat seems a bit 'wonky' after being so used to GW format. I do look forward to trying out a game.
