Default Any clubs in the Torbay area

    Hi Guys

I used to be a semi regular gamer at my local GW store in Torquay, However with Richard leaving and then Neil, I just don't feel the urge to play there any more, Both were great guys.

So just wondering if there any clubs in the Torbay area, I am a casual 40k player but also branching out to Warmachine. I admit to still being a novice player but more than enthusiastic and not too bad with a brush.

I have seen the Brixham Berserkers advertised but quite frankly people that dress up as orcs and run around the woods scare me

That sucks a bit, though as someone who goes to the Exeter store every now an again, its definately been good to have Neil back here and now running the shop.

The nearest club I can think of to you is South Devon Wargamers who are based in Kingskerswell (http://www.sdgc.co.uk/) I've only been to their club once but they seem a decent bunch and play 40k, & WFB (without dressing up lol), as well as historicals, not sure if they play Warmachine much or even at all though.

Otherwise it might be Cross Swords, the Plymouth Asociation of Wargamers to your west or Rygas or the Exeter Inqusition to your east which are the nearest clubs, though granted all them are a little drive away. I can't finish my post without recommending the Inquisition though, if the journey is'nt too much for you we've got a nice new venue in a new independent store on Marsh Barton industrial estate, so good links to the A380/A30 and M5.
