    Default My Vulkan He'Stan

So...I've been playing my Salamanders pretty well lately, so I was really excited to paint up Vulkan. I know a lot of people have issues with the model, but I actually like it. I'm no pro, but this is probably one of my best models...about 8-10 hours total paint time.

Sorry that the picture is a bit overexposed, I'm gonna take another with a grey or black background.

I'm not great with whites, but I think this turned out okay.

    Thanks for lookin!

I love the scales and flame/lava detail.

Pretty good. I think the lava should be a bit darker though so the bright colors seem brighter while it still has a dark feel. Especially on the lava on the back. Pretty good though overall.

Try washing the lava with Gryphonne Sepia or Devlan mud, either will darken it and retain the colours.

I suggest red eyes. I paint Blood Angels and green eyes really pop against red armour, so vice versa should work too!

The pic is a tad bright, but it's still a piece of art! The white cloack and base really take him to the next level!
