Default Can you force a model off the board?

So when youre controlling an enemy model's movement, can you make it move off the board and kill it? You effectively take over movement and a player can't deliberately kill their own models nor does the rulebook say you can run them off the board, so what's the ruling here.

Specifically when your opponent controls your Mumak during a stampede, can they simply run it off the board to insta kill it?

EDIT: Nevermind answered my own question, says under the stampede rule you can. I find that to be rather ridiculous honestly but oh well.

Generally no, you would not be able to move a model off the table.

You're right with the Mumak, however, as it seems to be the special child of the rule. Actually that is one of the best ways to defeat one- many opponents place them on the flanks for great charges through the enemy army. But being that close to the edge has its negatives....
    For the Empire-----CHARGE!!!!!!!!!
