    Default Immortal's Blood Angels

I've been wanted to post these guys on the forum for a while, but I've been working on my Blood Angels and they keep getting bigger... and bigger... and bigger.

A little background: I was deployed to Iraq in 2010 with the US Army and decided then to build my beloved Blood Angels... and I painted my first Assault Sergeant there. Somehow it survived the heat and the return travel home. Since then I've built an impressive 3500-4000 points of BA... and I'm finally coming around to painting them. So, here are some pics of my progress so far...
Pic 1: The test Assault Sergeant that I painted up in Iraq
Pic 2: My Lightning Claw Sergeant
Pic 3: Free-hand chapter banner for my Sanguinary Guard
    Pic 4: My Libby

Let me know what you guys think!

    One more pic...
I decided I didn't like the Storm Raven turret, so I decided to change it up.
First: I took the twin Las from the pred kit, as I had a few chilling in my bits box from building a few Auto-Las Preds.
Two: I took the heat shields from the Baal Pred flamer cannons and glued them together to make the iconic SM turret armor.
Last: I shaved down the original turret base for the Storm Raven and glued it all together.

Very simple design, but effective and easy to do if you have the bits.

The red is a bit bright for my taste but nice models all around. I like the new SR turret.

@Meph- I assume you're referring to the LC sergeant? I don't remember right now, but I think the brightness was more due to the lighting when I took the picture. More pics to follow, but if you look at the PF sergeant you get a more accurate idea of the actual color of my army, which isn't quite as bright.
