A perfect piece of casting news for DC's forthcoming Shazam movie in that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been cast as the villain, Black Adam. Considering he looks just like him, has the physique to match and can act a lot better than most give him credit for, I'm very happy with this news.

Either there is life in the universe more intelligent than us, or we are the most intelligent form of life in the universe. Either way, it's a worrying thought!
The level of excitement I have for the Captain Marvel surged when he said he was Black Adam. It makes me hope we're getting a DC movie where grim pragmatism is the bad guy in the face of a child's morality.
Every week a website called Comic Book Resources challenges artists to draw a scene on a common theme that they set. This weeks one was: Superheroes doing commercials. There are several good entries to this weeks contest, but none of them come close to how awesome this one is... I give you Power Girl in a poster advert for Wonderbra:

I don't know.
I don't feel compelled to buy a wonderbra at all.
I was and continue to be a fan of Peej
Also:
Peej is awesome. As is Wonder Woman.
Ask not the EldarGal a question, for she will give you three answers, all of which are puns and terrifying to know. Back off man, I'm a feminist. Ia! Ia! Gloppal Snode!
ooh, ooh, one shot spider man where Gwen Stacey becomes spider man instead of Parker, and is in a rock band with M J

Twelve monkeys, eleven hats. One monkey is sad.
Not up on my one shots - but have they ever spun off into their own series? That could be seriously cool.
Especially if she somehow got into the main universe, and met Spidey....
