Just watched "Winter Soldier" far better than I expected and for once a sequel that was more enjoyable than the 1st Captain America. I'm not much of a Cap fan, I find him a bit too Boy Scout in most comics including civil war.

I think I agree - though The First Avenger is still up there with my favourite films. I love how Cap doesn't actually change inside when he gets juiced up. Inside is still the little guy determined to make his stand.

One of the reasons I like him so much. In a way, he's kind of like Spider-man. The events around him change so much, but his base personality remains the same and he strives to keep it that way. Spider-man just gets a lot more crap dumped on him.

Bah, he's just desperate for attention. Just look at the way he's okay with playing the clown as long as people cheer and applaud him.

Nah. He was finally able to do his bit - and that's all he ever wanted.

you're forgetting, in the comics he was also an artist as well, I recall reading an issue where his work was on display, so the Cap was always multi talented.

The upcoming Gotham Academy series by Becky Cloonan has it's own tumblr hehe, and it is looking lovely:

Ask not the EldarGal a question, for she will give you three answers, all of which are puns and terrifying to know. Back off man, I'm a feminist. Ia! Ia! Gloppal Snode!
