    Default 2000 pts Imperial Guard

    Hi there, i need your thoughts about this list.

    Idea is to use the tanks to kill what is running around, the vendettas as tank or char killers
    The vets are used as needed (flank or infiltrate)
    The platton outflanks if needed.
    Also the vendettas can take a unit to any objective

    Looks pretty solid to me. How have the Al'Rahim lists worked for you? I've been curious but never tried one. My only suggestion would maybe be to drop the las cannons from the russ's. You could invest the points into an Officer of the Fleet maybe? Also I'm not a big fan of medics really. FNP on our boys isn't that great and besides they are rolling in a chimera so they are pretty well protected from any small arms fire coming their way. Also i'd rather buy two more plasma guns then the 30pt insurance policy that the medic provides.

    Looks good, except the Vets with Harker - if you want them as a fire base, put them in a chimera (and IMHO Harker is way to expensive to waste him as a way to get an additional hBolter).

    If you want to make use of Harkers abilities, go for Plasma guns, Melta guns or grenade launchers with Demolitions.

    And there's a mistake in the Special Weapon Squads: They can have only 2 flamers + demo charge. The demo charegs count as one of their 3 special weapons. I prefer 2 demo charges and a single flamer or Melta gun.

    And don't use Vendettas with sponsons - better replace one with a Valk with Multilaser, sponsons and Rocket Pods.

    Harker is good as an outflanking delivery system. I've used him so that I can out flank a squad with demolitions and 3 meltas.

    Al'Rahem sucks, especially with the platoon set up you've got. Outflanking with a bunch of useless squads isn't going to accomplish anything.

    Hull lascannon and heavy bolter sponsons are crap, too expensive for no real use. Basic Russes just need a hull heavy flamer, Exec needs all plasma plus a heavy flamer.

    It's not very good to be honest. You have no real focus and the entire army is based on 6 vehicles. You have no melta, so AV14 will roll you, even AV13 will give you problems. With cover how it is, Battle Cannons aren't as effective as you'd think.

    I'd pick up Vets in Chimeras with 3 meltas to bulk out your Troops choices. A platoon of 2 infantry squads and some SWS to ride in Valks would be nice too, use those infantry to shield your static tanks from assaults and outflankers. Swapping Russes for Demolishers would also be handy.
