Default Death Watch (Space Wolves Codex)

    Heya all!
Got myself a Death Watch army assembled. I almost went with sternguard from vanilla codex but chose the space wolves codex (love how flexible the wolf guard can be and also the Lone wolves fitting in death watch roles of kill marine and champion decided me).

Here's my list but at an average 57 points per model not sure if its cost effective. It is as you can see very fluffy, but if I take it to field will I just get swarmed under or should my force hold its own? (I mean to rain death from a far with heavy support and use the keepers to hit tanks close up and chew through heavies. Rain possibly suicidal plasma death with the marines and let loose the lone wolves! All supported by HQ).

    any constructive ideas?

Also I've heard of the grey hunters razor back spam list and while I hear its very effective I'm not interested (Deathwatch would be more likely to either drop pod in or teleport).

    Thankyou

There are numerous codex chapters and only a handful, if that, of chapters that are, or are similar to, Space Wolves so I don't really get why you'd choose C:SW. I think you're leaving yourself open to charges of powergaming/WAAC etc. Also, IIRC, the Space Wolves don't really get on all that well with the Inquisition so again, not an ideal choice of codex IMO.

C:SM would seem, to me, to be a more natural choice of codex.

I get what you're saying, sternguard are from what I've heard the way to go but, the level of customization the wolf guard offer was alluring also after reading the deathwatch rpg book I knew I needed a kill marine, the lone wolf seemed a good fit. And the fact that wolf guard can join other squads was a clincher as terminator armoured marines often featured in power armoured squads. The wolf guard while so very expensive are flexible enough to fit the death watch theme. Though the alternate ammo of the sternguard is probably a closer fit with standard deathwatch squads.
