Default Where to show your army?

Hi guys,

I am wondering if there is any website or section of a bigger website, where people can upload and show their armies(e.g. pictures, background, etc). Does anyone know such a place?

For example, there is a german website http://www.deinearmee.de/, where you can create a profile for your army, so that you get your own page with custom background, description, space for pictures, a guestbook for comments and even a rating. Unfortunately the site seems to be not maintained since a while and there are quite some bugs...

I think this is a great idea, because our hobby consists to big parts of collecting, building, customizing and painting armies. And I like nothing more than watching the results of the other players efforts. For me this is one of the exciting things on tournaments. Such a website with a big collection of all kinds of armies would be a big source for inspiration as well...

Never actually used it, but take a look at The Army Showcase (they do a podcast as well, about gaming in general)
I'm thinking it'd probably turn out more like Daleks playing Quiddich. "It is the Potter!! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! " (someone I know on twitter)

Or you could post it on this forum in the Modeling and painting section.

i'm with "the west coast knight"

post it up here on BOLS

or make a Blogspot blog like many of us do

for eg mine http://lucky88th.blogspot.com

what would be good is a website that simply linked to other blogs, maybe catagorising each army under headings, it could have a short bio for each link, showing a picture of some models, short background, make it easy for people to find inspiration and look at other armies. if i had some money i'd set up a domain for it
Conscription in the Lucky 88th
