    Default White Dwarf Warhammer Expansion

    Hey Folks

I was able to get a look on the new WD for january.

It contains the first part part of a Warhammer expansion called civil war (Maybe the name differs for the english version, i don´t know cause I saw it in the german WD)

It is a pack of rules and charts to roll on for games where both players use the same army
like empire vs. empire and so on.

looks like there a different charts on which you roll before the game, one chart gives your army some special rules. The other chart depends on which army is used. I could only take a short but I have to admit that it looked quite interesting.

They are releasing the "event" tables for all of the various factions over the next 3 months. Though I'm not sure if that includes the January issue or not.

From a quick look at the rules it uses a similar mechanic to Storm of Magic in that you get to buy an extra 25% of the agreed points in extra stuff outside of the normal percentage restrictions.

As you said it could be an interesting way to play themed armies.

Nifty, everyone seemed to focused on Vampire Counts to bother posting about this, look forward to reading it.
Ask not the EldarGal a question, for she will give you three answers, all of which are puns and terrifying to know. Back off man, I'm a feminist. Ia! Ia! Gloppal Snode!

i remember the old 5th edition rulings like this. Brets against Brets was to played out as a tournament of knights. Be interesting to see if they do something similar..

Could be interesting to see what they do with the rules, though not much use to my gaming circle thouhg as we all deliberately picked different armies to each other!
