Mass Effect 2 and 3 each had around 18% of characters being FemSheps and something like 40-50% just being DefaultShep if I recall correctly.

I rememeber it being a bit like that.
Maybe Korean MMO's get more female players. Or maybe more guys wants to be girls in a game where they can get their virtual knackers out

Stoya is a pornstar. Who gets treated better by a room full of porn fans than she does on the street. I've not been in a room full of porn fans (does BoLs count? hurhurhur) but I can't say I'm surprised.Originally Posted by Stoya

It's hardly surprising that fans who pay to be at a convention of any sort treat their guest with respect, but it does say a lot about people in the street...
However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

Yup, but the stereotype of the hardcore porn fan who would to to conventions is not one that would imply they would be respectful to these women. It's the contrast between that and the behaviour of regular people on the street that is so compelling about the story.

the separation of the notions of size and beauty, and the resulting abuse that comes from the association, is very important. It is rapidly becoming a very different problem though. It is something people don't want to hear about, and I have been insulted for pointing it out. Whilst size zero models are really bad, plus size models are equally bad. The western world has a growing (pun intended) obesity problem, rising at a rapid rate and costing billions in health issues. Definitely lets end the size/beauty prejudice, but we really must not pretend that being plus sized is a good thing. On radio two a couple of months ago they had a female doctor in the studio discussing the health problems that obesity is causing and how it is very important that people exercise. A woman phoned in to say that she was 18 stone and how dare the doctor suggest she wasn't beautiful. the doctor tried to very calmly and patiently explain that that was not what anyone was saying, and the issue was about health. that seemed to make the caller even more annoyed and she started banging on about how she was perfectly healthy and there was nothing at all wrong with her, and outright calling the doctor a liar when the doctor informed her of the increased risk of heart problems, diabetes etc. Big might still be beautiful, but it is not good or healthy.
