    Default Deads Dreadmob

Hi guys, Recently I wrote a post about my next project and asked for some ideas about what I was going to do.
We / I decided that an Ork Dreadmob army fit the bill and I then went about purchasing IA8 and my 1st model. I tend to purchase and paint 1 kit at a time now as I prefer to hobby in stages as opposed to being surrounded by boxes.

So here is my 1st model for my new army, Base isn't done yet as I am still thinking of a theme for my bases but as you can see the model is complete.

I have lots of coloured wiring laying around and replaced some of the plastic with real wires as its easier than painting on the lines. I think next I will be getting some kans or Orkifying a space marine dread.

Great work! A great crisp, clean, dirty look (hard to pull off well!) and a fantastic colour scheme. Can't wait to see how the rest of the list comes together. Any idea for the eventual target composition of the force?
Always thinking 2 projects ahead of anything I've yet to finish

That there is some great rust. Good work! You don't see enough blue on non-ultramarine armies out there. I like it!

I really love how you used real wires. I think that it would be much easier than painting wires, and would look better as well! I need to try that on some of my kits in the future.

I love that you've used all three primary colours on this without it looking garish, so you've basically out-painted every Ultramarine painter in the 90's.

Also, the weathering on the warning stripes is fantastic! Actually, scratch that, *everything* about the warning stripes is fantastic.

    Hey Deadlift,

I like your Deff Dread, painting has been done nicely.
The weapon combination is a good one, enough attacks and a heavy flamer.
    Got more Ork goodies ^^?
